Our new programme begins on 21st September 2023 when Bruce Keith will present his talk on Scottish Milestones “Are We Nearly There Yet?” Bruce has spoken to us previously, when in 2018 he presented “Bridgescapes”, which was greatly enjoyed by those of us present. His talk was based on his book of the same name and he has recently completed a new book, on milestones and mileposts. Bruce is a Chartered Surveyor and Chartered Environmentalist with a lifelong interest in the history of Scotland’s built and natural heritage. As usual we meet in the Abbey Church Halls at 7:30pm and welcome all returning members and visitors.
