Wednesday 29th August 2018
Elie and Earlsferry History Society have been engaged in the past year or so in two major projects. The first is the installation of historical interpretation boards at Chapel Green and
the Harbour and the development along with St. Andrews University Computer department of a mobile phone app to guide visitors around the village and its history.
They are holding an open workshop and seminar on Wednesday 29th August in the Sailing Club at the harbour in Elie between 10 am and 4 pm to explain how they went about both projects, the problems they experienced and the solutions they adopted. In addition St. Andrews University will demonstrate their expertise in recreation of historic sites etc.
They would very much like to invite members to attend this interesting seminar. So please feel free to contact Graham Johnston at firstname.lastname@example.org to register your interest – details on the attached poster.
