Aberdour Guided Walks

Expert guided walks for pre-booked groups:

 These walks are suitable for history and architectural groups; organisations such as retired staff clubs, walking groups and special interest groups.

 The walks:

These take approximately two hours followed by refreshments and question time in one of Aberdour’s cafes or hotels. All the walks will start from the Heritage Centre in Aberdour Station.

Numbers and costs:

The maximum number is 15 people with a minimum of 12 on each walk.

The cost of £10.00 per person includes the refreshments and a handout highlighting the key points from the walk and a small contribution to the Centre.  We are sorry we cannot give refunds once the booking has been confirmed.

 

Bookings:

Dates and times for the walks can be arranged for a mutually suitable date and time starting from September 2018. Please complete the online enquiry / booking form.

Please note that these walks are not suitable for people with limited mobility and that flat footwear is recommended.

Groups can come by train to Aberdour’s 1890 Station; by car to the Village car park which is adjacent to the Station or by bus which stops at the entrance to the Station where they will be met by their guide at the Heritage Centre.

We hope that you will make time after the walk to visit the range of shops and eating places, Aberdour Castle and Gardens and St Fillan’s Church, and visit again to take another walk.
